I bought this new case for a new iPhone wallet style case, as it protects the screen when the phone is in my pocket.It also has a couple of compartments to put cards and money in in case I don't want to carry my wallet around.I chose the black leather version as black goes with everything.It also comes with a strap for those who want to use it as a bracelet.The part that fixes your phone in place is more like a silicone material,giving you more flexibility in case you drop your phone The plastic viewing window that the sleeves sit in isn't necessarily perfect for an ID card that lets you see your entire card through, but it's there an overview of what it is. I have to imagine a hole in the viewing window so you get more friction when you slide your card. This has been a very reliable phone case so far and I'm enjoying it so far. Most importantly, this is an excellent balance of quality and functionality of the product.
