Based on bad experience with H510 Standard (overtightened screws that ripped everything off, terrible thermals causing fans to spin at maximum speed ), horrible side panel thumbscrews, a USB 3.0 connector designed to break INSIDE your motherboard), the LANCOOL 205 is a breath of fresh air (literally for my PC). First, it has a similar design. Aesthetic tempered glass side panel, minimalist interior and exterior design and cable management bar. The first thing to notice compared to the H510 is that the LANCOOL 205 has a lot more airflow, with vents on either side of the front panel, which is also removable and not part of the main body. The front and top vents feature magnetic dust filters and easy-to-remove brackets (no thumbscrews, but with sliding pins that can be securely secured with male-threaded screws if needed) that support dual 120/140mm fans. The side panels are no doubt designed to allow the side panel mounting holes to be placed at a distance from the main chassis (which on the H510 forces you to MANUALLY align the thumbscrews because for some reason they are not mounted perfectly straight) on the side panels which are located in their mounting holes, and if you unscrew the thumbscrews completely, their assignment as thumbscrews becomes moot since they cannot be re-tightened by hand) and standard-sized thumbscrews, which function as the thumbscrew head. The PSU bay cover can also be removed if you need more space to manage the PSU cables and hard drive bay. The hard drive bay is attached to the rail with thumbscrews and is adjustable to your PSU, and there's plenty of room on the back for cable management. Cable routing is also very easy thanks to the space inside, especially when connecting the CPU power cable. Finally, there are 2 USB 3.0 ports on the front I/O, separate microphone and audio jacks, and a power LED that doesn't blink like a strobe light, and although the H-series cases don't have a front USB Type-C have connection. (which was not supported by the B450 motherboard), if that's what you care about, a Type-C connector can be added via a PCI-E card or motherboard that includes it on the rear I/O panel . , the LANCOOL 205 was easy to use and install, has the same aesthetics as the H-series cases with no issues, and has a front I/O that works and doesn't keep flickering out of the corner of my eye, I highly recommend this case.
