Review on 🧽 Unger 2-in-1 Grout and Corner Scrubber: Efficient Cleaning Solution by Darnell Murphy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hard bristles - works great on an area of 300mΒ². ft. with baking soda and vinegar slurry

Mix baking soda and water to yellow mustard consistency. Use a tablespoon to pour a small amount of grout onto grout line in one motion. If there are bald spots, then mix the neighboring ones or add a little more. Wait 30 seconds (apply a few more lines of grout, I applied a 3 x 3 foot area at a time). Spray a mixture of 1/2 water and 1/2 white vinegar. Let it bubble for 30 seconds (spray on a few more lines of grout). Use the scrubber about 5 times in a quick, back-and-forth motion, keeping the brush in the crevice groove. Wipe clean with a damp (not wet) cloth. At the most difficult part (in front of the fridge) I had to do some sections a second time. Once you've done all the grouting in that area, use a dry cloth to clean the non-grouted tile surfaces (there were textured tiles and it made them look new). The 25 year old tiled floor looks like new. It took about 6 sessions of 45 minutes, it's a big kitchen. Went through 4 cases of 69 cent baking soda and maybe a pint of white vinegar. The brush still feels like new, it's a great brush. If the slurry mixture is too thick it won't soak between the grains, if too thin it won't foam up enough to allow for thorough cleaning. It's important to let the solution dry a bit before spraying the vinegar solution so the baking soda settles into the sand.
