I bought the Youth XL for my 12 year old son and he swims a bit in it but he liked it and decided to keep it. It wasn't SO BIG that he couldn't wear it now, but you can tell from the look that it's a bit too big for him. He's about 4ft 11in - 93lbs to give you an idea of his height.
