Just got my f5 and I'm thrilled. I haven't made a film since my FE, someone needed the FE more than me and it was stolen. I took some digital photos with Sony Cyber Shot. But I feel like they didn't have the same feel as the film. I haven't taken any pictures with this camera yet. I still collect assessments. You're ready to make a film or you wouldn't be reading this. I think this is the best film camera money can buy. My model is 1998 SN#314 ---- it came from KEH and is like new except the right hand grip is a bit loose (known issue). Maybe I can fix it with super glue, or maybe I'll take it to Nikon, here at the SLC. I think with the resurgence of film imaging these cameras will be in short supply, better get them now. Update 2/25/13 I made a mistake and ordered a DX lens (55-200 VR). I should have read the specs. Well, I got a Fuji reel and fired it. This is a very good lens, there is some sharpness in the corners but very little and a little cropping took care of that.
