Really perfect fit for my fan. I used to buy the same filter from other sellers and it didn't fit perfectly so the center of the filter (sucked in when the fan was on) was rubbing against the fan blade. This stays in place so my fan doesn't make a loud noise. Because it has a charcoal insert in the filter mesh, it also helps eliminate many of the greasy odors that linger in our filters with regular use. Doesn't smell much worse than rancid old grease and this filter solves that problem. This is a disposable filter but I have actually cleaned and reused it a few times. Just be careful not to bend or twist the frame. Gently soak in hot, soapy water (I use DAWN™ dish soap; works best for grease) and rinse. I sometimes add some household degreaser (LA'S AWESOME ORANGE™) when the lube is stagnant and drying out, and once I used GOO GONE™ because the lube was REALLY bad for the frame. After soaking and gently removing dirt, rinse the filter thoroughly with a soft bristle brush and allow to air dry before reinstalling. All that grease shows that the filter is really doing its job, which in turn prevents grease from entering the cooker hood and/or chimney, reducing the risk of grease fires. I love this filter.
