Review on Dorman Hardware 4 9820 Peghooks: Affordable Value Pack for Organized Storage by Jose Muenzen

I knew I was far from expecting anything decent in this price range, but I gave it a try anyway. A few points: 1. After testing my layout on a pegboard, I came to the conclusion that the proportions of the hooks are wrong. I needed more double hooks and fewer single small hooks. Because these hooks are designed for both 1/8" and 1/4" pegboards, they don't work very well with 1/4" boards. The hooks are too loose in the holes and tend to slip out when you remove the tools. of that if you're not careful. Despite these issues, I would probably just keep this set and live with it for this price were it not for the fact that the 3 hooks, including the double rings, were totally bent. They weren't properly welded at the factory . Attempting to bend them back would most likely break the weld. Basically I had to send them back. I'll bite the bullet and order a set of heavy hooks from another seller as Revain seems to carry so weakly that I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
