So far I really like the umbrella. The mechanisms work well and the coverage is wonderful. There are detailed instructions. Not that hard but as I was threading the bottom pole to the umbrella it threaded wrong and wouldn't let me unscrew it. Stuck fast in the wrong position. Finally sprayed it with DW40 and it came apart and went together just fine. I'm careful not to leave it up when not in use just because it is so large and I live in a windy area. I wish the ties were a little longer. You have to embrace the umbrella (again its large) to put the ties together then really pull them tight before tying it closed. Sort of awkward. They give you sand bag covers and a frame to put them in. Then there is a cover for the frame. I like that as it hides the sandbags.
