This is my second pair of these shoes in two years. I bought them again as the first pair was very comfortable. However, this pair has one key difference from the first edition: Addidas has removed the language. Sounds weird I know and I was skeptical until I tried them. The tongue has been replaced with a partial neoprene sock, I still believe it's neoprene. This sock covers where the tongue normally sits and attaches seamlessly to the bottom of the shoe. This neoprene insole makes it difficult to put the shoe on because the opening is smaller than if the shoe had a tongue. But once the shoes are on, they are very comfortable. In addition, the neoprene sockliner eliminates the problem found in many athletic shoes where the tongue moves sideways, curls or folds. So all in all a good change.
