Review on Discontinued Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR πŸ“· Camera Body Only with 18 MP CMOS Sensor by Fuji Kristiana Ana ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

A little more than two years have passed since the acquisition of this model. Since the seven was announced, I realized that I need this camera. I really love creative, artistic photography, and I understand perfectly well that this requires a full frame, so I still want a 5d mark 2, and this camera will be my next purchase. But it so happened that I earn money mainly on reporting. And when I first started using the seven, I was completely satisfied with the performance of this camera. Focusing + rate of fire - killed me on the spot, and this is taking into account the fact that at the beginning I had an ordinary 17-50 tamron without a usm motor, well, a canon 85 1.8 usm - here, of course, I was just dumbfounded by speed. I bought a memory card not the most thieves, but I got exactly 6 frames per second and that was enough for me, then I took the card even faster and got 8 frames clearly. Specifically, in my work, super detail is not very important, so any ISO up to 1600 suits me quite well. But if you are serious, the detail is excellent in the 160-400 range. At 100 soapy, at 500 and beyond - the picture is by no means perfect. A lot depends on the lens for sure. At the moment, I have only 70-200 f4 Elka - according to his pictures, I judge the details on various ISOs . I didn’t try the video for a long time, but as soon as I tried it, I went nuts. Buy fixes and shoot a MOVIE, without autofocus you will have to suffer, of course, but the video turns out to be very creative and professional at the same time! I rarely use this video feature, but it's done just fine. I would especially like to highlight ergonomics. I could not have held a more comfortable thing in my hands. Everything is very well thought out, the fastest access to any troubles, even with your eyes closed. In general, if you need a report - 7d is still unparalleled in its price range - I'm just sure of it. I have no desire to change this camera. I'm going to buy a five, but already as a second camera.

Pros
  • 1. Focus 2. Rate of fire 3. Ergonomics 4. Detailing 5. Build Quality 6. Viewfinder 7. Great video
Cons
  • Perhaps the noise from ISO 800 will seem strong to someone, but this is more likely to be a nitpick.
