Sleeves good, sleeve bad

While I think the current covers would be great for our collection, I'm giving it four stars because of the horrible outer bag that it comes in. For starters, they were shipped in a flexible plastic bag. Eh, no problem until I unbuttoned it and the sleeves were dripping onto the floor. The outer pouch they are put in at the factory costs a lot of junk. For the love of all that is sacred. charge $0.50 more and equip them with a more powerful, slightly flexible and reclosable outer pocket! This way the cases are much easier to store and have better access. I temporarily rolled them up in a freezer bag with a piece dangling at the end. I think if you have a flat surface available to put it where you can take it with you when you need it that would be really helpful. But I do not know. I want to place them between albums to save space. Wow, I'm whimpering like a baby. Good. Child. That being said, these cases seem to be made well enough to fit into our growing collection. They don't close at the top, but I'm fine with that. I just needed protection from the outside. They fit a standard album size, including spreads like Cat Stevens, Ted Nugent and Bread, but they go well together and are best when a second person helps. Frequent use can lead to an interruption in the roadway. All in all I would consider buying them again even with the crappy outside pocket. I may look for a different variety for inversions or reusables.

Pros
  • The 12.75" x 12.5" PERFECT FIT outer sleeves are optimally designed, with a flush opening, suitable for single LP, double LP and roll-up vinyl jackets - there is no added plastic the top of the polyethylene. Cover after inserting record
Cons
  • Obsolete
