After I did the CORRECT installation, the ZPS1002 worked great. Now I have a desktop computer and two laptops that have access to a printer. Some tips: 1. Before you buy: check the compatibility list on the Zonet website. The printers are listed by manufacturer and model. Also, the list is extensive. This will prevent a reason for a return. 2. Also, just leave the password blank in the same step. b. Choose and use a static IP address for the print server. I let the router assign it the first time. He worked several hours and then quit. When I reinstalled with a static IP it worked all the time. As mentioned above, you need to know your router's IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.1) and subnet mask (e.g. 255.255.255.0) in advance. Also make sure that the IP address you chose for the print server is not already assigned to another component in your system. in. If you don't know any of the addresses and don't know how to work with MSDOS, just download "Belarc Advisor" and use it (for free). It analyzes your system and shows all IP addresses of all your components in one section (preferably before installation). e.
