This is a great little gateway for design and testing, but with only two channels it's not "approved" for production use (you won't know until you Open your Yapping in their forums). TTN and others want you to use at least an 8 lane gateway, but that's overkill for desktop node development in my opinion. Installation is painless with clear and simple instructions. Pay special attention to the two frequencies you enter when tuning. They must match the requirements of your target server. For example, if you are sending your data to The Things Network (TTN) from North America, you must use router.us.thethings.network on Band 2, which starts at 903.9 MHz. If you want an easy setup, use 903.9MHz. and 904.1 MHz, and your host software uses frequency mask 0x0300 (band 2 frequency numbers 1 and 2). It is an excellent development partner for the equally excellent Heltec CubeCell HTCC-AB01.
