Good concept, bad implementation.
It took about 8 seconds to resolve the issue once the parts were separated. It's not difficult even for a child. Now if you replace the dowels with ones that actually have more than one corner it might be fun, but if I do that I'm also redoing the whole box, just a lot bigger.
