I think it's a well made product but I'm incredibly disappointed with the software modes. It's incredibly boring. I was expecting something more dynamic, like the LED strips in my computer. Basically, it has six monochromatic modes and then three or four dynamic modes that only work based on music. As soon as you launch the app I was expecting to see hundreds and hundreds of really cool color modes and displays so I could use them to decorate for the holidays, but again it's just really boring static colors that level out or fade very slowly , and you can create your own, but there aren't any cool tracing patterns or anything really exciting. Just boring spot colors or very slow color changes. A very big disappointment when you consider that really amazing individually solved things can happen here.
