In general, the clothes tree is quite suitable for the space. The color and strength of the base materials were as expected. The disadvantages are in the installation. The installation instructions are a bit pathetic. It would be a good idea to include the size of the drill bit needed for the dowels provided. We had trouble installing three things: 1) the size of the wall anchor drill bit 2) the top screw for each bracket is very difficult to insert as the tab that the wood hangs on blocks direct access to the screw head. We cut one precisely because of the angle and the very soft aluminum of the screw head 3) the wood look is black. However, the screws are silver-aluminum-colored so that they are clearly noticeable. We'll go to the hardware store and buy some paint to fix ourselves, but a higher quality screw that matched the paint would be much better and would probably solve all of our problems. Once we paint the screws we're happy with that I think.
