Ordered for my mother. She has a non-wireless desktop computer and I got her an iPod Touch for Christmas, so my requirements were pretty simple. I needed a router with both wireless and wired functionality. I didn't need anything super fast, and I didn't need it to support many connections. It does the job, cheap. I sent it home to my mom, and because she was dying to use her iPod with the Internet, she tried to set it up herself, but failed miserably. My stepfather also tried but failed. Together they were so confused that the desktop couldn't even access the internet when they removed the router from the setup and just plugged the computer back into the cable modem. When I got there, I reset everything, opened the setup page (192.168.10.1 or whatever. It says in the instructions.) and went through the wizard. I got it working again about ten minutes later and the network tool is fine with me. Two days later, my mother called me again and said the internet wasn't working. I returned to her house and indeed something was wrong. I didn't take the time to find out what. Again I reset everything, went through the same process and everything worked again. It's been about two weeks since the last reset and everything seems to be working fine. I guess either my mom or stepdad messed something up and that's why there's trouble again. Pros: - cheap - works great. Cons: - Don't take this if you need blazing fast network speeds for file sharing or similar. If you want to access the internet, it's fast enough for that; The speed of your internet connection is the bottleneck, not the speed of your wireless network g. - Instructions/setup wizard a little below average. - Not the most durable router I've seen, but it doesn't look like you'll be moving it often.
