This is a great product and the price is amazing! So far I have only used the vibration function on my Australian Shepherds (mini and teacup). I had to get smaller collars but that wasn't a problem as I only found a few cheap ones and burned holes in them to make the "bones" fit (I used a soldering iron). You can customize the collar that comes with the product if the kids want pink and blue for their dogs. The main reason I tried this product was because my Aussie stuck his nose in where it doesn't belong, between the neighbors' fence posts where their dog bit my dog's nose. We have a huge fenced area and the collars allow us to follow them from our deck without chasing them. If the neighbor's dogs come out and ours get too close, we can "buzz" a little and the dogs will stop and walk away. If they start barking we can "hum" them and they will stop immediately. It was difficult for my daughter to walk the dogs because they were barking or chasing someone who was dragging them. Now we could teach dogs to stop. I can open the fence gate and get in and out without worrying about dogs trying to escape and getting into trouble. In terms of battery life, the charge can currently last 4-5 days if the collars are used around 6 hours a day. . When you get the collars, let your dogs sit in them for a day or two without using anything so they get used to them. My dogs didn't like them at first and tried to shake them off, after a while they just played as usual without even noticing the collars. The most important thing is that the dogs do not associate the vibration with the collar, but with the danger, when the dogs approach the fence line or try to run out the door, I can snap at them, after a try or two they hear up and wait my sign. One of the coolest things about the collars is the red LED lights in the bones, at night we know exactly where the dogs are and it's fun to see the bright red dots flying across the yard. I personally have not had a single problem with the collar, they hold up very well, very comfortable, great product without paying $300. Highly recommend and as mentioned they can be used on smaller dogs. My Aussie Cup weighs about 6 pounds and has no problems.
