Is working. Once in a while. on collars

I bought these to try and teach my two dogs not to bark as much and to follow commands. I like that they are rechargeable so I don't have to constantly buy batteries. The first few times I used it on my 12 lb Cairn Terrier I was in for a big shock. Now that she knows what it is, a vibration or a gentle shock usually helps. My 8 lb Toy Poodle only needed a light kick a few times, vibration is usually enough for him. The only issue I have is that either the range is poor or they don't always…

Very happy with dogs

I live in a village near the swamp waters of Louisiana. When we released the dog we didn't want to tie it up because we didn't want anything that could reach it. It was just what we needed to keep them in the yard and keep them from chasing trucks down the road. We didn't have to use anything stronger than vibration to get their attention (thanks). The purchase will only be used highly if this is the last effort! The husband shocked himself several times while holding the remote control and…

Good product and very happy with the results

I bought a two collar system. The product has a vibration option and I use it exclusively with very good results. Haven't seen any other vibrating collar here, which is great! I tested all three options on my fingers before using them on dogs and I have to say I will only stick to vibrate mode and the softest impact setting when needed. The higher shock mode is probably intended for large dogs with high pain tolerance and loss of control. It was a terrible shock to my hand. I've only had to use

Great product, great service

This is a great product and the price is amazing! So far I have only used the vibration function on my Australian Shepherds (mini and teacup). I had to get smaller collars but that wasn't a problem as I only found a few cheap ones and burned holes in them to make the "bones" fit (I used a soldering iron). You can customize the collar that comes with the product if the kids want pink and blue for their dogs. The main reason I tried this product was because my Aussie stuck his nose in where it…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Poor instructions

We haven't had them in over a year. We have moved to a large lot that is too big to be fenced. We have two Sheba Inus that we wanted to let in the back yard so they don't run around. They are both older and have never had the luxury of roaming free, but teaching them to leave the yard and go in when their time in the backyard was up was difficult. After chasing Max around the neighborhood for the third time in the morning and being late for work, we picked her up. The decision was based on the…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Useless features

Bought these collars for two large mixed breed dogs that weigh about 60 pounds each. We take care of dogs in a rural South American town where there are no fences and dogs are everywhere. Although dogs bark everywhere when someone comes by, OUR house had a terrible reputation because two large dogs barked wildly and chased into the woods any dog that came NEAR the house, even if it was a Chihuahua, by a dog at the leash guided. Child. The two dogs, along with a few neighborhood dogs, also met…
