The product description mentions drift correction but I didn't use it to fix the problem. My problem was that the joystick button was not working properly. For example, in Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I could move the camera but not click to use the tablet. So I ordered this to replace a joystick on a joystick. So here is my experience with this product. They will send you two replacement joysticks, matching screwdrivers, replacement screws, and new locks to keep the joysticks attached to the Switch. like some other things. I was familiar with opening electronics like iPhones and Samsung phones because I worked in a shop that does repairs and I had training in cell phone repairs, so I just started opening the Joy-Con. It's not difficult, but you can easily break or loosen its components. I once swapped out a tested joystick and tried to calibrate it, but the new joystick had a serious drift problem and as a result I couldn't calibrate it properly. So I removed it from the joystick and attached another spare joystick of which luckily there were 2 and I thought it might happen so I proceeded to calibrate it and it worked. I closed the joycon, went into the game and tried the new joystick. Everything worked fine, the camera moved to where I executed it and the button in the joystick worked too. The replacement joysticks look just like the original ones that came with the joysticks so that was a real pleasure. I was glad I was able to fix my issue but a bit disappointed that the first replacement I tried didn't work. I knew it was possible when I bought this but 2 came and luckily the other worked fine and has been since I replaced it a month ago.
