Review on 330ft Waterproof Case by Catalyst - Grey for Apple 🌊 Watch Series 6/SE/5/4 44mm: Premium Silicone Band, Shockproof & Rugged Protection by Cyrus Wright

I've been an Android fan all my life but I gave up and ended up buying an Apple Watch along with the iPhone 12 due to the superiority of the Apple Watch Software. I was planning on going swimming with my watch and having heard that the water resistance of the watch itself decreases over time I wanted to protect it with a durable water resistant case. I ended up buying three different cheaper Revain cases only to have them keep failing the water test. The Catalyst case was the only case I found to survive. I bought a case and kept my watch in it 24/7. Even though the price of the case is/was high, I thought it was worth the investment to keep my Apple Watch safe. Long look, I was wrong. Two months later, the plastic on the right side of the Catalyst case broke. The crack was near the side button of my Apple Watch and movement of the case after the crack occurred caused the side button of my Apple Watch to move. After this happened I did two things. I've submitted an RMA request to Catalyst Support. To their credit, they were extremely helpful and immediately sent a new case. I then sent an RMA request to Apple. They were far less helpful and offered to charge me $299 to fix the damage. That's the price of a new watch, so I declined the offer. So now I have an Apple Watch with a relocated side button in a shiny new Catalyst case. Unfortunately, the misaligned side button triggers all the time, causing the watch to trigger Emergency SOS and periodically emit a siren sound, turn on automatically after I turn it off, and (don't know why) cause an intermittent water lock. I regret my trip to Apple's Walled Garden. I really miss my Pixel and Google Fi and wish Android had a repairable waterproof watch that could compete with Apple.
