At first I hesitated, but after the purchase I can say that I am more than satisfied. Holds my 37" spare with ease, which is good for me as it weighs 135 pounds and I don't want it to fall over. There was quite a bit of rattling after initial installation, but I found that the pivot bolts (the only screw you don't need to install) were loose. Pulled them up and haven't had any problems since. Rode it a few trails and at decent speed on washboard covered dirt roads and still holds up. Worth every penny
