Not suitable for Sunbrella fabric
The thread on our Sunbrella awning was frayed but the fabric was fine. After removing the fabric and cleaning the seams with soap and water, I applied Tear Mender to the seams. I chose this tape for the tear mender repair fuse. It seemed like it should work. It hardly stuck to the material. As soon as I put the lid back on and the sun hit the dark green fabric, the ribbon almost fell off. I'm sure it worked for a few things, but it didn't work with our canopy material.
