Considering how much other mirrors cost and what they do, this was the best value for $5. I had to make a 1" spacer for one side so it can be angled to see more of the road and less of the van. But because of its size, I can see everything from this side of the van, including the roofline. It covers just under half of the van mirror so the view is much better than the 1.5 inch circles that came with the van. I only recommend them if you have the means to make a wedge. If not, it works, but not as well. It's not glass, it's polished chrome with an aluminum back, very light. The tape that came with the kit dried out so I had to remove it and tape a new one. But again, it was worth it due to the increased field of view, now there are NO more blind spots on this side.
