Review on Emporio Armani Hybrid Smartwatch ART3001 by Mike Krzywicki

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The hour hand had to be synchronized daily.

One star for looks. Elegant, simple. I like the looks. Half star for potential. I was tired of navigating menus on smartwatches and wanted something with a few basic functions (as well as a traditional watch that I can read in the sun). I like the music start/stop function and the step tracker. The app is pretty easy to use, but it does require some work. No star for readability. The calendar numbers can be read with a magnifying glass when changing the battery, that's all. No stars for functionality. I sent it back because it had to be calibrated every day. The hour hand moved forward and was out of sync by the end of the day. No fiddling with the app or holding it near my phone prevented it from syncing. Half star for customer service. Armani responded to my sync issues by asking me to send a video of the issue, which I did. Responded with an exchange offer only. So I sent it back to Revain and the refund was processed quickly. Thanks, Revain. Summary: Not ready for prime time until the sync issue is fixed.

  • Emporio Armani introduces the Emporio Armani Connected hybrid smartwatch to the wearables market. With Emporio Armani's dynamic design style and the advantages of modern wearable technology, the hybrid smartwatch is compatible with both Apple and Android smartphones. Thanks to wireless synchronization with your mobile device, this watch is always accurate and automatically changes the time zone and date when you travel.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
