My son had a spare down jacket for the Northern Illinois winter. Although it was warm enough, it ripped when it fell in the schoolyard. This part of the sleeve has lost all insulation. He told me that since he got this jacket he has fallen several times in the playground, even harder than in this fall and I don't even see a stain on this jacket, it's so much more durable.
