Strong calipers. I had to adjust the set screw a bit to make it easy to adjust with one hand, but that doesn't matter. After some use I noticed that the black coating was starting to wear off a bit, not unexpectedly, and now it's not too noticeable. It's very smart, but it's a hell of a lot better than the method of drawing lines on a piece of paper, and if you're really serious about EKGs, you should have a few. I bought these because I couldn't find a similar style anywhere else. It seems only industry can get them out to cardiologists, and as a humble ER resident, I'm out of luck.
