Review on Poly Planar MA 4055W 5 Inch Flush Mount Speakers by Mike Goodwin

I just ordered a new pair of these speakers for my boat. I only did this because the first set I bought 14 years ago was finally worn out. The speakers themselves actually still work and I only replace them because the grilles have worn down over time in the sun. I've gotten a lot more of them than I think has a reasonable lifespan. These speakers ran 24/7 outdoors in sun, wind, rain, hail and snow for 14 years, then were exposed to sunscreen, spilled drinks, hits from winch handles and accidental kicks from people and temperatures. Change over time from -5F to 112F. The fact that they still play and sound great and I can't wait to install a new pair.
