I expected them to fit the same as bloomers, but the slits start at the top of each outer front thigh and go down each leg. When I walked or danced, they opened wide, exposing all of my legs. I changed that by sewing them on and now I LOVE them! They lose their golden glow every time I touch them, but it's not much and the floral patterns are still intact. I'm 5ft 5" and usually wear a size 10 pants, but I took a chance and ordered a size M. They fit perfectly in length but if I were taller than I am now the elastic waistband would be too big. I'd be just as comfortable in a large one, but I'm happy with these. They have wide legs for dancing and look cute with a gold waist scarf, belt or overskirt. I am wearing dance shorts in the pictures as these pants do not include them and they are see through from waist to ankles. I think they would be cute in the summer too, or even to cover up a bathing suit. Adorable pants for the price, with fast delivery I am very happy with this purchase.
