Review on Nikon D3100 DSLR Camera with Auto Focus-S Nikkor Zoom Lens (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Chong Nahm Cho ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

The goal was to take pictures of how my son grows, his walks, trips on vacation, and sometimes I wanted to use the video (to blow out a candle on a birthday cake, for example). If possible - additionally pleasant landscapes of the native city during walks. For more than a month I studied reviews and characteristics of DSLRs of the lowest price category, their availability in stores in my city. This device deservedly took the first line in the ratio of price-functionality-characteristics. Reviews were the best in this group. I bought it and am only happy because I achieved my goal and this camera even exceeded my expectations.

Pros
  • 1. Decent whale lens, great shots when used properly 2. Good rate of fire 3. The presence of picture control - a great opportunity to significantly reduce the processing time on the computer when using the portrait mode, switching to landscape - the ability to take high-definition photos. 4. The presence of video (for me it’s possible and not fullHD) is a nice bonus 5. Good build quality 6. A rich menu of photo processing directly in the camera, including cropping, alignment, filtering, D-lighting
Cons
  • 1. Autofocus noise when shooting video (eliminated by switching to manual focus) 2. I would like a second fn button (I often need to change both iso and photo size), although this is already nit-picking.
