I haven't built a PC for a long time, so I thought I'd get a ready-made gaming version for more intensive graphics work. This machine seemed to have everything at a reasonable price in the chip era. Maybe in time I'll play GTA-V with mods! The computer looked good out of the box, no used parts. I checked all cables, connectors, cards, chips, etc. before powering on. No loose screws or disconnected items found. There are different types of DVI cables (this Radeon RX 550 is DVI-D) unless you are using an HDMI cable (with audio). I added another 8GB RAM stick after the initial setup and testing. The RAM installed in the device is 1 stick 8GB DDR4 3000MHz CL16 1.35V from Patriot - P48G3006UPSB. Professional gamers prefer at least 2 joysticks for the best frame rate (FPS). I'm no pro but I was a little surprised that two sticks of RAM (for a gaming PC) weren't included in the kit, but that didn't become an obstacle. SSD and HDD are installed. It seems to be a fairly powerful computer, even for office use. Colorful fans look beautiful. Lots of USB ports. WI-FI and Bluetooth antennas included. Radeon Bios were updated immediately. The processor is a 4-core AMD Ryzen 3 3100. I was lucky and got mine on the very best day and am happy with it. Observations: • No packaging foam to hold the GPU card in place during shipping (sigh!) • Despite all those fans, it's quiet! • Cable management looks good, unused connectors are invisible. • I could not see the power supply rating unless I disassembled the bottom of the case which has a dust filter. • I haven't seen any other dust filters. • You may need the Internet. Connection for Windows setup. • You may need a Microsoft account to set up Windows. • DVI-D or HDMI cable not included. • The keyboard only has white LEDs, all other colors are RGB. • RAM and hard disks are configured in the BIOS. beautiful. • No malware installed. • The operating system (OS) is on the SSD – good! • There is a small remote control for the case fan. Some parts appear to be interchangeable, so the right to repair and upgrade is great! • AMD Utilities CD included, so you may need an external DVD/CD for reading. • See photos for details. Update: • I tried to test the PSU again, but without unplugging ALL the power cords, all I could see was that it was an Apevia PSU. • CPU fan, graphics card and RAM (was) did not have RGB LEDs. • Added LED strip kit from Apevia who also made the RGB LEDs, fans and possibly the case for this Cyberpower PC. • Added RAM RGB LED kit (not controlled by Apevia LED controller) - connected to motherboard (5V DC) • RGB LED remote control is an RF (radio frequency) unit, not an IR unit ( Infrared). I used the extra parts from the Apevia RGB fan kit to make the LED CPU fan ring. See added pics and short clip. • The bottom RGB fan on the front of the case has been offset 90 degrees from the top two fans. RGB LED show was a minor inconsistency - fixed. • I have a new RGB keyboard and some nice white speakers. • The inside of the computer looks like a pinball or pachinko machine, so I added some visuals. . - Added robot and car for visual interest - (with additional headlights and taillights powered by USB and driven by a buck converter to 3.7VDC). • A few days later I had to activate the (10 Home) version of Windows. Instructions can be found on Cyberpower's support page. • There is a small dust filter on the underside of the front cover. • Shrouded colored power cords are wrapped with black electrical tape to make the inside of the case completely black. • I'm still glad this computer can do more than I need with (now) 16GB of dual-channel RAM. Disclaimer: • These are my observations as an old-school geek, not a YouTube engineer/influencer.
