Review on Chemical Guys CLD_997_16 Diablo Cleaner by Robert Aliraqi

Safe and effective rim cleaner.

This is a safe yet effective rim cleaner. Diablo safely cleans your wheels. It does not contain strong acids that can damage delicate parts and surfaces. There are stronger rim cleaners out there, but they can damage delicate parts like emblems if you forget to rinse off the excess spray. Diablo Wheel Cleaner is safe enough to use on your wheels. It will not damage the exterior finish. This spray will not loosen the adhesive on your trim. Most plastic panels on your car body are attached with glue. For this reason no aggressive chemicals should be used. A clear coat on top of the paint protects the finish from harsh chemicals, but the glue and rubber seals on the car's exterior are delicate. Rubber door seals are more brittle than tire rubber. Diablo should be diluted. Use one of the Chemical Guys dilution bottles for this purpose. The pump in the spray head is resistant to chemicals. This is what you want to use with these cleaners. A quality sprayer will help make cleaning more enjoyable. You will pull the trigger many times. It helps to have a properly designed product. Diablo is a bit bold. A spray head with a long trigger will help you with this. Dilute the cleaner with soft water. RO or deionized water works best. Spray liberally on the wheels. Allow the product to soak in and then wipe the wheels. I know someone has probably sold you a product in the past claiming you didn't need to clean it and you were disappointed. It's difficult for any cleaner to remove dirt and grime unless you physically clean the wheels. Diablo is a good cleaner, but you have to scrub off that dirt. How it is. Diablo makes the job a little easier as any dirt you scrape off won't stick to the wheels until you let the product dry. It practically blows particles away from the wheel surface for a short time. Long enough to hose down. Do you really need a wheel cleaning product? Can I use the same car shampoo that you used to clean the painted surfaces of the car? I think so. In my opinion you can do without it. Use the same car wheel shampoo. It's your physical exertion that cleans the dirt off the wheels. Diablo is probably stronger than your PH neutral car shampoo, but you can compensate for that with a little more physical effort. This is another good product from detailing fans. It can be economical. It is very safe for your wheels and for you. This will help you clean your wheels without creating potential trim issues. I highly recommend this product if you feel the need to use rim cleaner instead of car shampoo.
