Although they seem to work with some modifications, I still think they don't meet the requirements. I have 3 questions/problems. First, they're said to have "strong magnets" that hold them in place without the need for duct tape. It was definitely not in my set. Of course they will float on a flat surface (i.e. the bottom of the case), but they don't have enough strength to hold them in place vertically (ie the front inside the case). They kind of stick when you slide the strip down until it touches the bottom of the case, but the top part peels off/falls off. If that's the best they can do. turn on the band. Second, they are not compatible with my gigabyte board without modification. Technically, the 4-pin connector on the bars is fine, but with the extension cord it was a different matter entirely. For some reason they added a protective cover around the 4 pin connector which prevented it from mating with the connector. Once cropped, they fit perfectly and work with the RGB fusion board and software, but no modification is required. Third, they are shipped rolled and insist on being rewound after installation. I understand the need for wrapping, but they are twisted so tightly that the ends don't relax in the middle and lay flat. They can come over time, but since the magnets aren't even strong enough to resist winding, I'll have to find some duct tape to hold them at some point. A decent product that has some potential but they need to work on some of it. Mistake.
