Review on Clear Zippered Blanket Storage 15X18X5 by Gavin Hernandez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It is very difficult to pack stretchy items like down (or synthetic) duvets.

I think this works for fixed size wool, cotton or fleece blankets. But it wasn't very useful for double-size synthetic duvets that expand on their own and need to be bagged. Three aspects of these bags made this process difficult: 1. The zipper is on the narrowest side, so you have to darn the quilt in the shortest and longest way. The best bag would open like a suitcase on three edges at the top. 2. Only 8 of the 12 edges have reinforced stitching, resulting in curves as the quilt expands inside the bag. A better bag would have reinforced stitching on all 12 edges to help keep it square.3. The zipper has only one train (closer). At best, there should be two of them to make closing easier.

Pros
  • Storage and Organization
Cons
  • Vulgarity
