Good blanket bag; no bad smells

These are good bags for storing blankets or similar bedspreads. Some reviews write about strong or unpleasant plastic smells from the material the bag is made of. I have not noticed any strong or unpleasant odors emanating from this product.

Almost exactly what I wanted

I was looking for pockets to store king size sheets. These bags were a bit big but I couldn't find the right size so I kept them. The price wasn't terrible. Since I've only used two and haven't moved them much, I can't say how long they will last.

Perfect for my knitwear

I keep my finished knitted blankets and other stuff in these bags. This is the perfect way to gift them or keep them for yourself. However, I had to air them out due to the strong plastic smell. I opened them up in a well-ventilated place for a few days and let them air out.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • For seniors

Plastic storage bags are great for laundry

Decided to have an organizational binge. I don't like how towels, sheets and linens smell musty from being stored in linen closets. I decided to throw out my old, smelly linens, pull out the storage boxes and those clear vinyl zip-lock bags, and redo my entire linen closet. Now everything is fine and my linens can smell fresh out of the dryer even in bags!

Ideal for storing duvets or quilts

These durable zipped storage bags are ideal for storing a variety of laundry. I use them to store and protect my grandmother's crochet blankets. They're roomy enough for me to fit two blankets in each bag, but also a large bedspread or blanket. They are exactly what I needed and I love that they are transparent so I can see what's inside.

  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • Expandable

High Quality Plastic

I'm tired of struggling with folded sheets taking up extra space in my closets. Full sheets of the same color for both of my beds. And especially the sheets in the linen closets that smell like dust when I'm ready to use them. Using these separate plastic containers keeps them organized and no longer smells so bad that I have to wash them before use. This size is a little bigger than I need for a set of sheets and a couple of pillowcases, but they still do the job well. The only negative was…

  • Closets
Cons
  • Crumpled Wrapping

It is very difficult to pack stretchy items like down (or synthetic) duvets.

I think this works for fixed size wool, cotton or fleece blankets. But it wasn't very useful for double-size synthetic duvets that expand on their own and need to be bagged. Three aspects of these bags made this process difficult: 1. The zipper is on the narrowest side, so you have to darn the quilt in the shortest and longest way. The best bag would open like a suitcase on three edges at the top. 2. Only 8 of the 12 edges have reinforced stitching, resulting in curves as the quilt expands…

Pros
  • Storage and Organization
Cons
  • Vulgarity
