This option was chosen based on A) the number of reviews compared to other cases I've reviewed B) the number of higher rated reviews, not the Level or number of stars C) Exquisite colors and functionality. I think this offers good protection against all but the most devastating bumps/drops. Love the extra zipped pocket to store the charging cable etc. as well as the little zipped pocket for your phone or whatever. Mine didn't have the unexpected or unusually strong smell of gas like other cases I looked at, so I was able to use it right away. It was also the best price I've seen.
