I ordered an ONVIAN bike alarm for my mountain bike because I ride a lot in the city where bike seats and tires are often the target of theft. I was amazed at how easy it was to install the anti-theft device on my bike and especially glad I didn't have to download another app. The alarm mechanism and remote control are compact, and the battery charges efficiently with the included USB cable. A blaring alarm draws attention as soon as it starts screeching. The instruction manual, which wasn't very writing friendly, also had illustrations and text that adequately explained how the alarm worked. When testing the ONVIAN bike alarm in my basement, I first shook the bike and heard a loud beep. The second time I tipped the bike over, the alarm sounded shrill. The remote doesn't light up or beep when the alarm is activated, but if you're in relatively close proximity to the bike you'll definitely hear an alarm when it's activated.
