I wanted a longer, less fashionable, warm jacket to complement my winter coat options. I've had my eye on Orolay for a while and when they proposed a Black Friday deal I jumped at it. I actually ordered two different coats but received a message from Revain that they were canceling and refunding the order due to an unspecified "problem". No explanation what the problem was. Regarding the completed purchase (Women's Stylish Orolay Down Coat Winter Hooded Jacket): I'm 5ft 3in, about 150lbs, narrow shoulders and hips, busty. I rarely try on coats, tops and shirts. I ordered a large size based on comments from other buyers. In fact, the large size is suitable for the chest, although it is large in everything else, especially the shoulders, back and waist. The sleeves are also too long, but I've never bought long sleeves that didn't require the sleeves to be shortened. like: - Fits over the chest. - Back is longer so I sit on it instead of a cold seat. - Tape on sleeves to keep cold air out. - Deep pockets for hands (but only two; zippered chest pocket mostly just for show, although you can slip some cash, a credit card or a key in there; not sure most phones will fit comfortably.).- Color (army green). - Casual. Dislikes: - Too large in the shoulders, back and waist (disproportionately large compared to the chest). Pulling the drawstring at the waist inside with these little slider things makes the coat look a little weird, plus I can feel the drawstring on my chest. -Sleeves are at least three inches longer so need trimming (story from my life) -Handbags are studded, don't have a zipper so they're unreliable, and there are only two of them -No inside pocket (all coats must have an inside pocket ). The hood is not detachable. I wish I had ordered multiple sizes and styles so I could compare.
