Through trial and error, I found that the Makita cross line laser is top-notch... Its self-leveling feature is so precise, which makes it easy to use. The green laser is brighter and shows up better in daylight. The added pulse mode option is also a plus, allowing it to work with a detector. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey compared to other cross line lasers on the market..
