Review on Hunter Dempsey Low Profile Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Remote Control - Enhanced Indoor Air Circulation and Convenient Control by Kat Hernandez

I recently bought a house that didn't have central overhead lighting! (phew!) All the bedrooms were lit by sconces, a really cheap gaudy look that required you to turn a little knob each time to turn the light on and off, no light switches and just a dated ceiling fan with no light. . We were living in dark times and needed great indoor lighting and a remote control cordless fan so we didn't have to dial out selectors to install light switches and new wiring. We stumbled across this design and loved the reversible slats, remote control, dimming of the lights and the many settings. It took about an hour to set up for my friend (21 and not too comfortable). We had no problems and the fan works fantastic! He is calm and graceful. The pictures do not convey this. My only minor complaint is that the lighting is a bit "warm" while I prefer "cool" light. We've changed the lightbulbs, but the thick glass dome dims the light. The rest is still great!
