Review on DZS Elec Mini DC 3V to 5V 2A USB Step-up Charging Module: Power up and Charge Mobiles, Mp3s, and Phones with DIY Power Supply Charger - Pack of 2 by Seth Damain

A long time ago I bought a drox version 2A, but for the same price I got two DZS electric 2A boards now. I used it to replace an old worn out gorse in a DIY Altoids power supply. It works well although the indicator turns red when under load, maybe my batteries are dead, another reviewer said they only put out 1 amp. 2A at 5 volts is 10W, if your power supply can't deliver 10W you won't get a 2A charge capacity. In my case my phone draws more current at lower charges and less at battery discharge. The highest I got was 1250 but my phone is at 80 percent. Also, my hot glue mess from years ago still haunts me 🤣🤣🤣 If you're trying to build something I recommend outdoor double sided tape and silicone if you want to glue the connectors maybe I should fix it. I haven't fully tested them yet, but soon (when my phone is almost dead) I will.
