I needed a new belt after my 10 year old Columbia belt snapped. I was looking for the same solid leather belt I had before. After receiving the replacement leather belt, I found that the new belt is 1 1/2 inches wide and doesn't tie as easily. I needed a 1 3/8 belt so I tried this one and I'm glad I did. This belt laces up very easily and the belt is not stiff, there is no memory in the belt after wearing it all day. The best thing about this belt is the clasp.
