Review on 🌱 NESCO TR-2 Gardenmaster 15.5" Add-A-Tray for NESCO 1000 Series Dehydrators - Expand Your Drying Capacity with 2 Additional Trays by Esther Fisher

I was disappointed with American Harvest TR-2 Add Dehydrator, 15.5" This was supposed to be a NEW product but orange food debris (albeit in small amounts) seems to be on to have stuck to the drying rack. Upon closer inspection I noticed that there were cracks in the casting where it shouldn't be. Yes, they were the correct size at 15.5 inches, but the internal circulating whole was different from the original shells I received with my FD1040 model. Just because I see a fit makes me assume it's a 'universal' one. Partly and not necessarily The FD1040 was designed to maximize airflow in this model. It is therefore possible that the FD1040 can only stack 20 trays, while the FD1010 and FD1018 models can stack 30 trays. I have returned the TR-2 trays and have to deal with the apparent fact that there are no exact replacement trays for the 1040 when the time comes. FYI, there will come a time when the original shells that come with the 1040 have very light meshes that will break open with any aggressive flush.
