The remote control supplied with the TV does not perform all functions. We couldn't turn the TV off or on. Also, channels could only be switched using the up arrows. Really bad remote control. Today we were able to do all the remote control functions with the new remote that we received. Everything worked great. This belongs to my 103 year old uncle. He is very happy that he has a working remote control!
