I don't want to knock this product because it works, but not for my intended setup. So I think this is more of a "Be Careful" review because when the description says "Maximum supported resolution 1920 x 1080 (60Hz)" it's not just that. I have a new AIO desktop bought computers. and bought an external monitor a few days later. I stupidly forgot to check the inputs on each to make sure they were compatible. The desktop only has HDMI and the monitor only has VGA so I need to buy this cable. I can extend my desktop to an external monitor, but when plugged in, the screen on my desktop flickers intermittently (several times a minute) and eventually crashes my optical drivers. Then the whole computer freezes. and requires a hard shutdown. That must be because the AIO is 4k, although I reduced the screen resolution for ease of use. 4k is great resolution (yup) but too low for document work. Conclusion: If you didn't read the description, you will find that "support up to 1920 x 1080 (60Hz)" is not just a suggestion, but a fact. I use it at home instead of a laptop with an old monitor setup and it works great.
