If you have common sense you can get this device working very easily. This product saved me about $1,000. I bought this for a 2004 Honda Civic LX with an automatic transmission. With a few small pieces of plastic cut off the turn signal block, this block barely fit on the steering column. After comparing with the standard device, there were clear differences between them. The steering wheel lock will not work because this block does not fully seat onto the steering column, but everything will line up when you reassemble the plastic trim and all the wiring harnesses simply connect to the new block. The keys that come with the kit have a small compartment where you put your old chip from the old key. This saves you having to tow the car to the dealer and reprogramming the chip for no reason. The end result looks amazing and works great!
