A great way to dry clothes faster / reduce static, NATURALLY and CHEAP - buy it!

Dryer balls transform laundry as you wash – they help separate clothes during the drying cycle, which not only speeds up drying of clothes, but most importantly, eliminates (or at least reduces) any awful clinging. static electricity. For years I have used a set of 2 spiked rubber balls which work great but as a substitute I wanted to try wool balls as a more sustainable option. I usually opt for unscented items because while I like certain scents, I can be sensitive to artificial/overpowering ones, so I also appreciate that essential oils can be added to yarn balls for scent and strength (usually a drop or two). Of course, dryer balls work just as well, odorless, but for those who love scented fabric softeners, wool dryer balls infused with essential oils can be a good, natural alternative. like my gummies. As there are 6 balls in this set I was a bit concerned that getting them out of my clothes would be a nuisance as even my 2 balls were often "lost" between my clothes, but in fact I didn't have a single ball. problems. I think the rubber ones would get stuck in my clothes because they have little protrusions, but since the wool ones are smooth they tend to slip out. Although there are four more to find, it's actually easier since I don't have to search as hard for them. Some hair may get caught on the balls, but they don't tangle like they do on a wool sweater, for example - rather, the tangle is compacted so the hair is just on the surface and easy to pull off the end. I also had no issues with the light-colored dryer balls picking up colors from my clothes. They're supposed to last over 1000 charges, which I can't even come close to, so I can't personally attest to their longevity. My old dryer balls were only supposed to be good for about two years, but I've been using the same ones for a lot longer and they still look the same and work just as well, so I suspect they'll last and win. They don't need to be replaced any time soon. If they last 1000+ downloads I would buy them again - at $12.99 they are very affordable, especially considering how much money is saved compared to buying fabric softener for the same amount of time. And as an avid dry ball user, I'll leave you with some pro tips: PRO TIP #1: Use all 6 balls! Together they will work better and more efficiently - after that it will not be difficult to find them, so there is no reason not to do it. TIP 2: Balls bouncing off the dryer walls can be LOUD. So don't just drop the laundry and then cover the balls. LAYER! Put some clothes inside, then a ball, some clothes, then a ball, etc. and close with the clothes on top. The balls work by moving your clothes and separating them so they're better in between anyway. . . and the bonus is that you don't have to suffer from the sound of bullets hitting metal.
