This is my first year of vacuum sealing and I have tried two other types of bags. These are my favorites because my previous ones were in roles. I had to cut and glue one end. Sometimes I underestimated the space requirements and wasted my bag. I save a lot of time with these bags. I've made a decision not to overdo it with the things I want to freeze and this is a good size for storing burgers, chicken pieces and even liquids. The other day I had an amazing sauce I made with a pork chop for lunch. It was too good to throw away. What I did was put it in a regular freezer bag and let it freeze. Then I took it out and sealed it in one of these bags. My job is to seal wet or liquid foods, sauces and gravies. The pouches also felt a bit thicker than others I've used and can easily be described as "spicy". I will order them when my current bags run out.
