I've had the same bad experiences with collars as other reviewers. They dropped from puppies, even newborns and not very active ones. Too much extra to cut off. And IF the collar came into contact with water? Forget that Velcro is no longer durable. The two pieces of material that make up the collar have separated. Velcro was the ONLY piece holding it together. Which of course rendered these collars useless. In less than 24 hours of use, all the collars were in the trash. Much less of an issue, but the colors were really terrible.
