Definitely not waterproof or waterproof!
Despite claiming to be "waterproof", the device absorbs moisture, causing the screen to fog up from the inside. I installed it in our boat's enclosed engine bay, flushed the engine bay (no direct water on the unit), and within 30 minutes the display had fogged up from the inside. Hoping that a day in the sun will dry up.
